I am originally from Kansas City and completed my undergraduate coursework at Missouri State majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I later went on to earn my Master of Science in Communication Disorders at Rockhurst University in Kansas City. During that time I had a variety of clinical experiences that ranged from infant and toddler services to rehab settings in hospitals.
I have worked with adult patients who have had aphasia, dementia, and swallowing disorders. As for pediatrics I have worked with children with apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, autism, language disorders, speech sound disorders, and stuttering. I thoroughly enjoyed my adult patients, but have always loved working with children as they are truly my passion!
I recently moved to Colorado to be closer to family as well as to spend my time off playing in the mountains! I feel so lucky to have become apart of the Alliance of Therapy Specialist team and to have the opportunity to work within the Denver metro area.
