I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky and earned my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Louisville. During my graduate studies, I had the opportunity to work with children and adults demonstrating a variety of communication disorders, ranging in age from infant to adult.
I have had the opportunity to work in a clinic with infants, children, and adolescents with craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate. I also gained experience in providing services to infants with developmental disabilities, ranging in age from birth to 3 years old, in a home health setting. I have spent a significant amount of time in acute care with adults who had speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders. Through all of these experiences, I developed a passion for both pediatric and adult speech-language pathology, and I have a strong desire to grow professionally in both settings.
I recently moved to Denver, Colorado to spend my spare time experiencing all that the mountains have to offer! I am excited to be apart of the Alliance of Therapy Specialists team and look forward to the opportunity to work with your family.
